Admissions Office

The Admissions Office handles the administrative processes for students whose eligibility must be determined. This applies to bachelor's, master's, and pre-master's students. The team checks the completeness of the admission files and then either makes a decision itself or writes an assessment of the level of prior education, which is forwarded to the admission committees at the faculties. This is done on the basis of information from a large database maintained by the Diploma Assessment team. They also ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

In addition, visa applications are processed here for students who need an entry visa and/or residence permit to study in the Netherlands. There is close contact with other teams within the SIA department, with the faculties, and with students regarding questions related to admissibility.
