Composition
One half of a Programme Committee (abbreviated in Dutch to OLC) is composed of students, the other half of lecturers. The Programme Director of the degree programme in question acts as chairperson, though this person is not a member of the Programme Committee itself. The term of office for students is one year (from 1 November in a certain academic year until 31 October in the following academic year) and in the case of lecturers, three years.
Joint Meeting of the Programme Committees
The joint meeting of all Programme Committees is chaired by a member of the teaching staff appointed from among all members; Rick Weijers is the current chairperson. The vice-chairperson is chosen from among the student members and is currently Stijn Vergeer. Both positions are for the duration of one term of office.
