Procedure ethical evaluation
As of 1 January 2019, the Ethics Committee will assess all new research proposals of FGGA researchers (including PhD research projects, excluding student research projects) using the 5 criteria set in the Code of Conduct for Research Integrity: honesty, scrupulousness, transparency, independence and responsibility.
The assessment will take place before the start of the research project, regardless the financial funding (1st money stream, NWO/EU or commissioned research)
Researchers are invited to send in their application for ethical review continuously and can expect a statement from the Ethics Committee within 3 weeks (15 working days).
Only complete, digital applications for ethical review (PDF format) will be assessed.
The guidelines and the application form can be found here.
