Educational Service Centre
The Education Service Centre (OSC) of the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs is responsible for the registration of study and educational data and for the faculty-level management of supporting systems. In addition, the OSC is jointly responsible for the organization of education, monitoring compliance with regulations, and providing information to students and lecturers.
Information and contact
We advise you to submit your question by email (osc.fgga@fgga.leidenuniv.nl). This allows us time to review your student file or gather the necessary information and provide you with an accurate answer. Please always include your first name, last name, student number, and study programme in your email. We aim to respond to your question/request within a few working days.
You can also ask your question at our desk in Wijnhaven. The desk is open from Monday to Thursday, between 10:00 and 12:00.
We are also available by phone from Monday to Thursday between 10:00 and 12:00 at: +31 70 800 9488.
Grade registration
As the education administration office, the OSC is responsible for recording study progress and registering the final grades of completed courses, internships, and theses in uSis. If you believe a grade is incorrect, please let us know.
If you need a transcript of your grades, please contact us by e-mail.
Diploma
The OSC records and verifies each individual student’s study programme before a diploma and diploma supplement are issued.
We ask students to keep this information up to date in uSis themselves and to check it carefully before applying for their diploma, as this saves both you and us a lot of time.
Scheduling
The people in charge of scheduling at OSC arrange the timetables for all the study programmes at our faculty.
They will also schedule lectures and workgroups.
Please send us an e-mail if you have questions about your schedule, lectures or work groups.
Organizing Exams
The OSC organizes exams at various locations in The Hague.
The exam coordinators manage the logistics of the exams, coordinate invigilators, and support both lecturers and students. Special attention is given to students who require additional facilities.

Several systems are important for students:

-
The e-Prospectus (for information about the education)
