Nominations Faculty Council 2023
On 21 and 22 March 16.00 candidates may be nominated for a position in the Faculty Council. Staff and students of the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs can send the fully completed application form to the Polling Station of the Faculty of Governance to the polling station of the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs, at stembureau@fgga.leidenuniv.nl. The e-mail must be sent from a uMail or ULCN account. Elections will take place from 17 to 20 April 2023.
Language (support)
The administrative language within Leiden University is Dutch. This means that the language used in meetings is in principle Dutch as well. In the meetings, you may as a member of the Faculty Council of course speak English. Documents to be discussed with the Faculty Board are often written in Dutch but a short summary in English is added to the documents. A language buddy and/ or Dutch language course are offered, but at least some passive knowledge of the Dutch language (listening and reading) is advised to be able to participate fully as a member of the Faculty Council.
