Personnel Shared Service Centre

Responsibility of the department

The Personnel Shared Service Centre (PSSC) is responsible for the processes relating to the University's personnel and salary administration, and for handling questions from managers and employees. 

What does the department do?

  • Processing all personnel mutations and carry out administrative processes in the spheres of inflow, throughflow and outflow.
  • Processing and paying salaries.
  • Answering questions, tailored to the client's needs.
  • Continuous monitoring en improvement of work processes.


Het PSSC consists of four teams:

  • Inflow/Outflow team
  • Personnel mutations team
  • Salary Administration and financial working conditions team
  • Service Point team

The first 3 teams constitute the PSSC’s back office, while the Service Point is the front office.

Position within the University

The PSSC falls under the Administration Directorate and works closely together with the heads of HR and HR advisers within the faculties and units of the HRM department.
