  • Excellence education

Committee Chair: Marlene van der Velden

Staff, Student Affairs and Internationalisation Committee

This committee will deal with dossiers on such subjects as:

  • Student policies and rights
  • Internationalisation
  • Any reorganisation plans
  • HRM policy

Committee Chair: Dorien de Koning

Finance and Real Estate Committee

This committee will deal with dossiers on such subjects as:

  • Administrative-financial reporting, the university's budget and the framework memorandum
  • Range of programmes
  • Developments in real estate
  • Environmental policy

Committee Chair: Dahran Coban

Committee Chair

Each committee has a chairperson selected by the University Council. The committee chair is responsible for compiling the committee’s advice to the University Council, determining the procedure to be followed for particular dossiers (this is something he/she will do in consultation with the chairperson and the clerk) and maintaining contact with students and staff. The committee chair will also act as a spokesperson on behalf of the council during discussions with the Executive Board.
