Clusters

All members of the Institute’s scientific staff are a member of one of its clusters, which serve as a forum for the coordination and further development of teaching and research.

The Institute has three clusters:

Icon cluster 'International Relations and European Politics'

International Relations and European Politics

The cluster International Relations and European Politics brings together teaching and research expertise on international and European cooperation, organisation, norms and practices, and political economy.

Icon cluster 'Comparative and Dutch Politics'

Comparative and Dutch Politics

The instructors and researchers within the Comparative and Dutch Politics cluster study the formation and transformation of political attitudes, behaviours, and power relationships both within and across political systems.

Icon cluster 'Security and Legitimacy'

Security and Legitimacy

The cluster Security and Legitimacy brings together staff with an interest in issues of security and violence, and in the legitimacy and justice of social and political institutions and processes.
