Employee Councils

Employee Councils are composed of staff members who represent the University staff. The employee council serves a body for consultation, information, communication and advice.

In its work, the employee council follows the Employee Council Regulations, adopted by the Executive Board. The Employee Council promotes the welfare and interests of University employees and works to make the University more transparent and open and to improve consultation.

Right to advise and be informed

The Employee Council can issue solicited and unsolicited advice to University management and management must respond. University management must also provide immediate information about its policy. Sometimes the Employee Council also has the right to consent to new policy.
