Exam Support

Department responsibilities
The Exam Support Team is here to ensure optimal and uniform implementation of procedures for faculty exams (except for oral exams and practical assignments) for all students of Leiden Law School. To achieve this, Exam Support adheres to the examination policy of the faculty.

Exam Support is the point of contact for educational support units, for questions and advice about exams from teachers, students, staff of the institute offices, and other (external) parties.

Mission
To ensure that the logistics in relation to exams is organised properly for both teachers and students.

Vision
The Exam Support Team aims to be a trustworthy partner that is focused on providing service to its customers, is easy to contact, and that actively contributes to solutions and innovations to ensure that exams run smoothly.

What does the department do?

  • Helps lecturers and students at exam locations, except for the Old Observatory
  • Supports students who have a disability
  • Answers all questions about the faculty logistics procedure for exams from lecturers and staff of the institute offices

Our position within the faculty
Exam Support is part of the Department of Education: Cleveringa Institute. It works in close cooperation with lecturers, staff of the institute offices, the faculty timetablers, Digital@exam, the Education Information Centre (OIC), and the Board of Examiners.

In addition, Exam Support also works with third parties that are part of the faculty logistics procedure for exams such as UFB CPM, Jobmotion, and external exam locations.
