Communication & Marketing
Communication & Marketing advises, facilitates and supports the faculty and its staff in attaining their objectives via (online) communications and marketing. In this context, its work focuses mainly on the intake of Dutch and international students based on the principle of the right student in the right place, and on ensuring a good online presence and an effective organisation through internal communication.
Communication & Marketing can be divided into three types of activities: the Alumni Relations Office, the Editorial Staff of the Faculty and Internal and External Communication.
Alumni Relations Office
Leiden University alumni contribute to the growth of the university in a variety of ways and the university in return makes effort to support alumni in their personal and professional growth.
Editorial Staff of the Faculty
The Editorial Staff of the Faculty manages faculty information on the external, staff and student websites, as well as on the student recruitment site. Furthermore, the staff coordinates and publishes news articles, creates staff member profile pages, supports and advises editors and manages the faculty's social media channels.
Internal and External Communication
Communication & Marketing focuses on sharing inspiring stories of the Faculty of Humanities. Internal and External Communication does this via online and offline marketing, by supporting and promoting internal communication and by making it easier for society to get in touch with research.
