Student counsellors
The student counselors at Leiden University support students in matters relating to regulations and legal provisions. Students can contact them for advice on studying with a disability, financial matters, study delays, and complaints procedures. They also support students in combining their studies with other responsibilities, such as a board position, top-level sports, or pregnancy and parenthood.

Make an appointment
For more detailed advice and support, you can make an appointment with the student counselor. This could be for a written statement or mediation, for example. You can schedule an appointment online. It is possible to make appointments on location (in The Hague or Leiden). Take a look at the options online, as this may allow you to see us sooner.

The appointment system shows you the available slots for the next five weeks. These include both online appointments and appointments at one of the student centers in Leiden or The Hague.
