Confidential counsellor

The University has three types of confidential counsellor. Contact them with any complaints or problems relating to unacceptable behaviour, human resources or academic integrity.

Confidential counsellor for unacceptable behaviour

Piet de Boer is the confidential counsellor for unacceptable behaviour. You can reach Piet de Boer by telephone on 06 25042 886 on workdays between 9.00 and 17.00. If you cannot get hold of him directly, you can leave a message and he will return your call either the same day or the next working day.

Confidential counsellor for human resources matters

The Executive Board has designated two members of staff for this role. They back each other up in the event of absence. Jan Maasen is the confidential counsellor and Marije Bedaux is his deputy.

The confidential counsellor for human resources can be contacted from Monday to Friday at the Department of Health, Safety and Environment (VGM) at the telephone number +31 71 527 8015, or by e-mail at vertrouwenspersoon@bb.leidenuniv.nl.

Confidential Counsellor for Academic Integrity

The Executive Board appointed Ingrid Tieken-Boon as Confidential Counsellor for Academic Integrity in April 2013 for a term of four years.
