The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW), the Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU), and the Netherlands Federation of University Medical Centers (NFU) have drawn up a ‘Code for Transparency in Animal Testing’, with the aim of achieving non-binding openness and dialogue through self-regulation in the field of animal testing. Leiden University endorses this code of conduct.
