Administrative Service Centre

Responsibility of the department

The Administrative Service Centre (ASC) is responsible for the processes related to the financial and personnel administration. The ASC consists of the:

  • Financial Shared Service Centre (FSSC)
  • Personnel Shared Service Centre (PSSC)

What does the department do?

  • Processing staffing changes relating to the employment life cycle.
  • Processing and paying out salaries.
  • Processing financial transactions.
  • Answering any questions that arise.
  • Continuous monitoring and improvement of work processes.

Position within the University

The ASC falls under the Administration Directorate and works closely with the Faculty Boards, Financial and Economic Affairs, Human Resource Management and the heads of HR, HR advisers and controllers within the faculties and units.
